He was married to Mary GRIME on 25 Nov 1675 in Helmsley in Ryedale District, North Riding of Yorkshire County, England. ⁽²²²⁾ Mary GRIME ^{(5)(6) (7)(8)} signed a will on 5 Feb 1722/23.⁽²²³⁾ Her will was proven at York 28 July 1725. She died in 1725. ⁽²²⁴⁾ Ralph BOWLBY and Mary GRIME had the following children:
