letter from Joseph Bonnell to Dennis Bowlby in 1890 indicates that
Lydia lived near Sharpsville at that time.

She was married to Joel PETTY.⁽³⁶⁷¹⁾ Joel PETTY ⁽³⁶⁷²⁾⁽³⁶⁷³⁾⁽³⁶⁷⁴⁾⁽³⁶⁷⁵⁾⁽³⁶⁷⁶⁾⁽³⁶⁶⁷⁾⁽⁸⁾ died.⁽³⁶⁷⁷⁾ Died a Union soldier during an epidemic at Nashville in the Civil War.
