In 1912 the family moved to Wabash, Indiana so Samuel could repeat his experience in Maquoketa. He operated the plant until it closed in 1924

He was married to Maud GARMAN in 1903. ^(14151) Maud GARMAN ^(14152) was born on 8 Dec 1884 in Andalusia, Illinois. ^(14153) She died on 27 Sep 1974 in Wabash, Indiana. ^(14154) She was adopted by her maternal grandparents, Joseph R. and Lavine (Jones) Cunningham and was then known as Maud Cunningham.
