Fred Potter points out that if george was 60 in 1881, as per census, then he can not be the son of Rachel, b. 1810. Fred also points out that the census age could be wrong, as his wife was only 43. He lived very close to Oldham in 1881. Laura ^{(5)(6) (7)(8)} was born in 1833.⁽³⁹¹⁶⁾ George W. BOWLBY and Laura had the following children:
