Moses is believed to have been a son of Samuel BOWLBY (9) by his first wife. He is named in the writings of Colonel Herbert M. BOWLBY. There is a Warren Co., NJ. marriage record of Moses BOWLBY of Hunterdon Co. who married Eliza MARTIN two years after Aaron BOWLBY (10) married Mary LANNING.

He was married to Eliza MARTIN on 12 Feb 1835 in Warren Co., NJ.⁽²⁴⁹⁵⁾ Sharon Meeker's "Warren County, NJ Marriages 1824-1855" shows their marriage date as 12 Dec 1835. He Married by T.
