In addition to her children with Ebenezer, she raised several orphans.

She was married to Ebenezer Johnson DANIELS on 4 Jul 1851 in Crawford County, Indiana.^(10875) Ebenezer Johnson DANIELS ^(5624)(775) was born in Aug 1822.^(10876) He died on 2 Nov 1877. ⁽⁵⁶²⁴⁾ He was buried in Snodgrass Cemetery, Rolla, Maries County, Missouri.⁽⁵⁶²⁴⁾ Ebenezer was a member of the Missouri Militia under the direction of Captain V. G. Latham. He and others in his company engaged in various marches and scouted after and captured several bushwhackers and horse thieves.

His wife Lucy had been sick with "fever" and he had been caring for her, then he took sick and died of "fever."

Their cabin of is six miles southwest of Vienna and as of 1989 was thought to be the oldest standing building in Maries County, Missouri, built in the 1850s.
