He was married to Estella Mabel LOOMER (daughter of Jacob Eaton LOOMER and Susan Amelia BOWLBY). ⁽⁸³⁷⁴⁾ They lived in Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia on Bay of Fundy prior to
their marriage. They moved to Boston in the 1860s. He was a
carpenter and builder with a shop at 1617 California Street, San
Francisco.

From ships passenger's lists - The "Conquest" Sept 28, 1863 -- Jacob
Loomer aged 21 and Susan A. Loomer, aged 19, both born in Nova Scotia.

Schooner Ransom arrived Boston, MA Oct. 10, 1864 --Jacob Loomer aged
26 Born in Nova Scotia - a mechanic. Note on card says "Susan - age
22".

Schooner Enterprise Arrived in Boston Aug 24, 1865 Jacob Loomer aged
23 and Mrs. Susan Loomer age 21 a US citizen.

Schooner "Anna" arrived Boston Oct 16, 1866 Jacob Loomer, aged 24 -
occupation Mechanic - US Citizen. A note on the card says "Susan aged
23 and child aged one"

Schooner "Oriental" Boston Aug 22, 1867 Susan A. Loomer Aged 22 - US
Citizen Note on card says "Annie Aged 1".

"The New York" arrived Boston Sept. 4, 1873 J. Loomer, aged 29 Born
Nova Scotia Occupation Mechanic Estella Mabel LOOMER ^{(5)(6) (7)(8)} was born on 25 May 1869 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. ⁽⁸³⁷⁵⁾ She died on 2 Feb 1938 in Los Gatos, California.⁽⁸³⁷⁶⁾ Arthur H. DOWNING and Estella Mabel LOOMER had the following children:
