ELEVENTH GENERATION

1828. Elvin Milson LOOMER ^{(8487) (5)(6) (7)(8)} was born on 2 Nov 1867 in Aylesford, Kings County, Nova Scotia.⁽⁸⁴⁸⁸⁾ He died on 19 Aug 1948 in Oakland, CA. ⁽⁸⁴⁸⁹⁾ Elvin and Anna Loomer lived for years in Oakland, California. He was
a Chiropracter with a small practice in his home. All three of their
boys lived in the Bay Area prior to WW2. Elvin operated a farm at
Picard, California which he purchased 15 October 1923. When the
contributor of this section, Roy Loomer Davis II, was about 12, Elvin
took him down into Oakland via streetcar. The went to visit an indian
chief who lived in a small trailer and made bows and arrows. Elvin
had treated the chief over the years and they had become great
friends. The Chief gave Mr. Davis a "very nice bow made out of yew
wood with a 90lb pull".

He was married to Anna Catheren DICKIESON on 12 Dec 1906 in Berkley, California.⁽⁸⁴⁹⁰⁾ Anna Catheren DICKIESON ^{(5)(6) (7)(8)} was born on 9 Jan 1875 in Graniteville, Nevada County, California.⁽⁸⁴⁹¹⁾ She died on 25 Jun 1965 in Oakland, California. ⁽⁸⁴⁹²⁾ Elvin Milson LOOMER and Anna Catheren DICKIESON had the following children:
