She was married to George BRETT.⁽⁹²⁹⁰⁾ George BRETT⁽²⁹⁾⁽⁵⁾⁽⁶⁾⁽⁷⁾⁽⁸⁾ was a cutler.⁽⁹²⁹¹⁾⁽⁹²⁹²⁾ George was the son of Thomas (a clerk) and Harriet (Carr) Brett.
Harriet was first married to Henry Coward.

Harriet and Henry Coward had a son, Sir Henry Coward (1849-1944). a
Sheffield celebrity. He was apprenticed as a cutler, taught himself to
read from advertising posters and became the principal of a school on
the outskirts of Sheffield. He joined a choir and learned to read
music. He went on to take degrees of BMus and DMus, organised a choir
of thousands of school children for a visit of Queen Victoria and was
eventually knighted. He toured the USA and Canada twice with Sheffield
choirs and also visited Australia. For many years he taught in the
Music Dept. of Sheffield University.
