(598) Early Morris County records show that George, Jr. and Levi Bowlsby held 90 acres of improved land in Hanover Township in 1798. It was probably after 1798 that George and Phebe moved to Ballston Spa, New York.

He was married to Phebe STILES.(598) George and Phebe Stiles were first cousins. George's mother, Phebe Stiles, had a brother named Samuel Stiles who married Margaret Van Droof. The Phebe Stiles that George, Jr. married was the daughter of Samuel and Margaret (Van Droof) Stiles of Stilestown, New Jersey. Although 10 children attributed to this union are listed here, only
