He was buried in Parsippany Presbyterian Cemetery, Morris County, New Jersey.⁽⁵⁹⁸⁾ He was the first child named in his father's will of 1815 and received
a bequest of 83 acres in Hanover Township which his father had
received from his brother Thomas in 1798.

He was married to Barbara PARLEMAN in Feb 1815.⁽⁵⁹⁸⁾ Barbara PARLEMAN^{(582) (1650)(7) (8)} was born on 20 Feb 1779.⁽⁵⁹⁸⁾ She was also known as "Parlamon". ⁽⁵⁹⁸⁾ L. H_iler
