629. William Brant BOWLSBY ^{(598) (582)(7) (8)} was born on 11 May 1820 in Hanover Township, Morris County, New Jersey.⁽³⁸³⁶⁾ William was named as one of the executors in his father's will, but
surrendered administration to the remaining executor, Andrew J. Smith.
The homestead was sold 2 May 1849 for $1,800 to Tunis R. Cobb, who was
the husband of Nathaniel Bowlsby's daughter, Sarah Ann.

He was married to Caroline Cornelia TAYLOR on 1 Feb 1843 in Hanover Township, Morris County, New Jersey. ⁽⁵⁹⁸⁾ Married by the Reverend John Ford. William Brant BOWLSBY and Caroline Cornelia TAYLOR had the following children:
