Martin Bowlsby of Hanover, Morris County, New Jersey, was age 30 to 40
in the 1830 census with a family of four males and five females.
Martin was the second child named in his father's will of 1815 and was
apparently of age at that time. He and his brother Nathaniel were to
receive the land upon which their father lived, being 100 acres
located near Troy, Morris County, under trust that they pay other
legacies. In 1834, Martin sold his portion of his father's homestead
land to the Presbyterian Church for a parsonage. He was married to Mary CASSIDAY.
(400) This union is based upon "uncertain"
information, but it is believed
that they were married and were the parents of four children as set
forth herein. Positive proof is needed. Martin BOWLSBY
and Mary CASSIDAY had the following children:
