John L. Bowlby was born in Warren County, New Jersey., September 23 1814, died near Winona Furnace, Ohio, June 20, 1886, age 75 years 8 months and 22 days. He was married to
Melly Ann Allen, to them were given four Sons and two daughters, three of whom - twin Sons and daughter live to mourn their loss.
Brother Bowlby joined the M.E. ChurchAnd was converted to God twenty-seven years Ago, and has lived a consistent Christian life. He has gone to join his sainted wife who pre-Ceded him to the glory world only eight months.

Just a note here the birth date year really is 1810. When you figure out the years, months, and days - the birth date is correct. Also, can not read the exact days, but I have a page from a Bible record that also stated birth date is Sept. 23, 1810
