Thomas BOWLBY ^{(1879)(7) (8)} was born on 26 Nov 1803. ⁽¹⁸⁸⁰⁾ Thomas was found in the Harborville #19/19 census, living with his daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and Edward Howell and their six children. He is listed as age 77, Bapt. English, farmer. no spouse. (He was still there in 1891, age 87 so this confirms that he was a widower and remained so after his marriage to Thankful was annulled)

He was married to Ann GATES on 5 Dec 1822 in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, Canada. ^(1881)(1882) Marriage performed by Rev. Edwin Gilpin. Ann GATES ^{(1883)(5) (6)(7) (8)} was buried in Wiswall Cemetery, Wilmot. ⁽¹⁸⁸⁴⁾ She died at age 37. She was buried in Wilmot cemetery #23. ⁽³⁶⁸⁾ Thomas BOWLBY and Ann GATES had the following children:

He was married to Thankful BOWLES.⁽¹⁸⁹²⁾ The marriage is said to have been annulled the following day. Thomas and Thankful's marriage was annuled the next day after their
marriage. In 1881, she was living with, probably, her brother. Note
says she was a widow. We do not have a death date for Thomas, but he
would have been 78 in 1881, so it is likely he died.
