Edmund DAILY ^{(772) (773)(774) (775)} was born in 1814 in Rowan Co., NC. ⁽⁵⁴⁹²⁾ He died on 22 Mar 1863 in Washington County, Indiana. ⁽⁵⁴⁹³⁾ He was buried in Bunker Hill Cemetery, Washington County, Indiana.⁽⁵⁴⁹⁴⁾ The 1850 and 1860 Washington County Census' show Edmund's family living in Franklin Township and gives account of 10 children.

He was married to Malinda SLOAN on 5 Nov 1835 in Washington County, Indiana.⁽⁵⁴⁹⁵⁾ Malinda SLOAN ^{(772)(773) (774)(775)} was born in 1820 in Virginia.⁽⁵⁴⁹⁶⁾ She died in Vincennes, Indiana.⁽⁵⁴⁹⁷⁾ Edmund DAILY and Malinda SLOAN had the following children:

".....was the fifth daughter of Edmund and Malinda (Sloan) Daily, born in 1880 in Washington County, Indiana, died in 1867, buried Bunker Hill Cemetery. She was the last minor defendant named in her father's estate record of 1863."

Obviously, there is erroneous information here which needs to be corrected. Her tombstone heading (if legible and consisting of dates) at Bunker Hill would provide an answer, unless she grew to maturity and married and is buried under her married name.

It is probable that the dates should be 1860-1867.
