448. Edmond BRIGGS ^{(2580) (2581)(773) (774)(775)} was born between 1801 and 1807 in Rowan Co., NC.⁽²⁵⁸²⁾ He died in 1866.⁽²⁵⁸³⁾ He is mentioned in his Grandfather, Edmond Palmer's Will written in 1810.

Edmond is said to have had 7 children, but four of these daughters are as yet unidentified.

The following five marriages are believed to be those of children of either Edmond or his brother John:

He was married to Ruth DOBBINS in 1823.⁽²⁵⁸⁴⁾ 1st wife - Edmond is said to have had seven children but four of these were daughers as yet unidentified. Ruth DOBBINS ^{(772)(773) (774) (775)} was born in 1823.

He was married to Priscilla DOBBINS in 1827. ⁽²⁵⁸⁵⁾ Edmond BRIGGS and Priscilla DOBBINS had the following children:
