Marmaduke George COKER⁽⁷⁷³⁾⁽⁷⁷⁴⁾⁽⁷⁷⁵⁾ was born on 4 May 1811 in Rowan Co., NC.⁽⁵⁴⁷⁶⁾ He died in 1909.⁽⁵⁴⁷⁷⁾ He was buried in Bunker Hill Cemetery, Washington County, Indiana.⁽⁵⁴⁷⁸⁾ Sherman Lee Pompey and June B. Barekman published the COKER REPORT in 1964 which presents the known history of Marmaduke's family.

In 1835 Marmaduke, Jane, and their firstborn child moved to Washington County, Indiana where Jane reunited with her father and brothers. Jane Willson DAILEY and Marmaduke George COKER had the following children:
