490. Mary Jane BOWLBY ⁽⁵⁾⁽⁶⁾⁽⁷⁾⁽⁸⁾ was born on 15 May 1807 in Sussex County, New Jersey.⁽²⁹⁶³⁾ She died on 21 May 1893.⁽²⁹⁶⁴⁾

She was married to Francis K. HORNBACKER on 24 Dec 1829.⁽²⁹⁶⁵⁾⁽²⁹⁶⁶⁾ The FREE PRESS gives the following information on this family:

"Mr. and Mrs. Francis K. Hornbaker spent the first year and a half of
their married life at New Village. He then purchased a house and a
number of acres of land on the 'King's Highway,' now Hornbaker Street,
Washington, New Jersey, paying for the same the sum of $500. Mr.
Hornbaker lived in the house only two years when he built a commodious
residence nearly opposite, where he and his wife resided a period of
more than 60 years. Four children were born to them, two boys and two
girls. The girls died in early childhood, but the boys, Robert and
John, were well known residents in this county."
Francis K. HORNBACKER⁽²⁹⁶⁷⁾⁽⁵⁾⁽⁶⁾⁽⁷⁾⁽⁸⁾ was born on 19 Mar 1808.⁽²⁹⁶⁸⁾ He was a Butcher in 1850.⁽²⁹⁶⁹⁾ He died on 15 Feb 1899.⁽²⁹⁷⁰⁾ Francis was the third child of 14 children born to Peter and his first
wife, Mary Kruser Hornbacker.

All other records, except the Bible record of Francis Hornbacker,
spell his last name without the "c" - "Hornbaker". Mary Jane BOWLBY and Francis K. HORNBACKER had the following children:
