While as of Aug. 2000, researchers have not uncovered conclusive
evidence that this Almira Bowlby (the only one known of over 13,000
descendants - right area, right time) is the correct Almira to have
married Jonathan Spinney, it seems highly likely that the descendants
mentioned here are properly placed. - ckb
