Louella Tamson Clements was born in 1875 in LaSalle County, Illinois
and came by covered wagon to a farm her father, Hugh Calivn Clements,
had purchased near East Lynn, Illinois, when she was about four years
old. Being the youngest of eleven children, she lived on the farm
until her mother, Sarah M. (Bowlby) Clements' health failed. A home
was purchased in East Lynn which made it possible for Louella to
attend and graduate from the two year high school.

On January 1, 1948, Louella suffered a stroke and was in poor health
until her death on November 5, 1948.

She was married to Harry Robins SMITH on 1 Oct 1895 in Ford County, Illinois.^(12468) Harry Robins SMITH ^{(12469)(12470) (6)(7) (8)} was born on 28 Dec 1879 in South of Clarence, Illinois. ^(12471) He was buried in Glen Cemetery, Paxton, Ford County, Illinois. ^(12472)

Harry Robins Smith... moved when he was three years old to the 160
acre family farm purchased by his father, Robert Green Smith. The
farm is located 2 1/2 miles west of Rankin, Illinois. His mother was
Lois LaBee Smith and he had two brothers, Orville and Clyde. Clyde
died of diphtheria in 1876.

Harry was a farmer who also served as assessor of Button Township. He
was a member of the Pellsville School Board for a number of years and
was a trustee of the Presbyterian Church of Clarence, Illinois. Louella Tamson CLEMENTS and Harry Robins SMITH had the following children:
