545. George W. BOWLBY ⁽³⁾⁽⁸¹⁶⁾⁽⁶⁾⁽³⁴⁴⁶⁾⁽⁷⁾⁽⁸⁾ was born on 1 Aug 1806 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.⁽³⁴⁴⁷⁾ He died on 8 Jul 1889 in Harrison, Ohio.⁽³⁴⁴⁸⁾ According to the History of Hamilton County Ohio, he served iwith his
brother John in Company K as a private.

He was married to Elizabeth SONDERS on 12 Jul 1827.⁽³⁴⁴⁹⁾ Elizabeth SONDERS⁽³⁾⁽⁸¹⁶⁾⁽⁶⁾ ⁽⁷⁾⁽⁸⁾ was born about 1808 in New Jersey.⁽³⁴⁵⁰⁾ She died on 23 May 1834.⁽³⁴⁵¹⁾ She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Harrison, Ohio.⁽³⁴⁵²⁾ George W. BOWLBY and Elizabeth SONDERS had the following children:

He was married to Sirena LINCOLN on 8 May 1835.⁽³⁴⁵⁸⁾ George and Sirena are said to have had eight sons and several
daughters. Apparently George lived on the Indiana side of the border
from Harrison, Ohio; he was commissioned as justice of the peace in
Indiana for some 52 years. Sirena LINCOLN⁽⁶⁾⁽³⁴⁵⁹⁾⁽⁷⁾⁽⁸⁾ was born in 1816. She died on 3 Mar 1900. Sirena is probably represented by a grave in Glen Haven Cemetery,
Harrison, Ohio, marked Mrs. L. Bowlby, who was born around 1817 and
died 30 March, 1900, aged 83 years and was then a resident of
Indianapolis, Indiana. George W. BOWLBY and Sirena LINCOLN had the following children:
