Bowlby: "Granddad was a sweet, quiet, tobacco chewing Irishman and
grandmother was a vivacious, assertive, career lady. She flew in from
a convention (Royal Neighbors of America) in New York on the day she
died. She wouldn't have had it any other way." John was employed as a
grocer and Eva as an insurance salesperson. He was an Irish Catholic
and she was a Presbyterian.

She was married to John O'DONNELL on 21 Oct 1896 in Richland County, Illinois.^(12494) Eva and John were married by a Father Sheldon. Mr. Tom Brassil was the
groomsman and Anna Enochs was the bridesmaid. A wedding supper was
given at the O' Donnell's home in Olney, Illinois. Eva Viola BOWLBY and John O'DONNELL had the following children:
