BOWLBY FAMILIES IN ENGLAND AND AMERICA: In the early 1990s, Raymond Edwin Bowlby, compiler of the book, established sale and distribution rights with www.higginsonbooks.com
![]()
Royalties from the sale of these books go to Ray's surviving siblings. Ray worked with and built upon the collaborative efforts of many researchers, including many who continue to provide their hard work to the collaborative efforts with the BFO. Although Ray continued to research and add information until his death in 1997, his "work in progress" has been modified, making it impossible to tell where his efforts ended.Higginson Books offers an outstanding collection of his works, including his credit to contributing researchers, index, and title pages. This work is available for purchase separately, or in a beautifully hardbound cover, 534p., 5 parts in 1. 1985-91.
The collection consists of:
PART 1: BOWLBY FAMILIES IN ENGLAND - Descendants of Ralphe(3) and Richard(5)
PART 2: BOWLBY FAMILIES IN AMERICA - Descendants of Thomas(7), George(7), and Richard(7)

PART 4: JOHN BOWLBY OF SUSSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY - Descendants of John(8)
PART 5: THOMAS BOWLBY OF HUNTERDON COUNTY, NEW JERSEY - Descendants of Thomas(8)
