bull, but partially recovered. He was buried in Grove Cemetery, Bath, New York.

descendants, James was about four years old when his parents left for Nova Scotia.
Rather than subject so young a child to their own uncertain future, James was
left with his married sister, Mary, who was the wife of Newbold Woolston and
lived near Washington, New Jersey. Two other children of Richard and Mary also
remained in the Washington area, Elizabeth m. Thomas Bray, and Thomas, m. Sarah
Axford in 1788. He was married to Catherine MAYBURY on 8 Feb 1807 in Sussex
