1430. Garrison M. BOWLBY ⁽³⁾⁽⁷²⁶⁹⁾⁽⁷²⁷⁰⁾⁽⁸¹⁶⁾⁽⁶⁾⁽⁷⁾⁽⁸⁾ was born on 2 Jun 1853 in Norton, New Jersey.⁽⁷²⁷¹⁾⁽⁷²⁷²⁾ He died on 3 Mar 1924 in Dover, New Jersey.⁽⁷²⁷³⁾⁽⁷²⁷⁴⁾ According to Raymond Edwin Bowlby, A biographical sketch of Garrison
appeared in A HISTORY OF MIRRIS COUNTY NEW JERSEY Volume II, 1914.

Garrison's parents moved from their farm at Norton when he was two
years old to their farm at Asbury. When Garrison was 21, he went to
Dover, New Jersey, where he worked as a clerk in a store for about
five years. After, he owned his own store in Washington, New Jersey
for a few years. He disposed of his properties, and purchased a farm
a half mile from the business district of Dover. He divided the 101
acres into urban lots and called the new addition Bowlbyville. In
1914, Bowlbyville and Garrison were both prospering.

He was married to Anna SAMPSON on 28 Sep 1880.⁽⁷²⁷⁵⁾⁽⁷²⁷⁶⁾ Anna SAMPSON⁽³⁾⁽⁸¹⁶⁾⁽⁶⁾⁽⁷⁾⁽⁸⁾ was born in 1864 in Hackettstown, New Jersey.⁽⁷²⁷⁷⁾⁽⁷²⁷⁸⁾ She died in 1919 in Dover, New Jersey.⁽⁷²⁷⁹⁾⁽⁷²⁸⁰⁾ Garrison M. BOWLBY and Anna SAMPSON had the following children:
