538. Adam Riley BOWLBY ^{(3401) (816)(3402) (6)(7) (8)} was born on 28 Oct 1810.⁽³⁴⁰³⁾ He was a Justice of the Peace in 1845 in Pulanski Township, Williams County, Ohio.⁽³⁴⁰⁴⁾ He died in 1855 in Montgomery County, Kansas.⁽³⁴⁰⁵⁾

He was married to Martha MCDANIEL on 13 Dec 1838. ⁽³⁴⁰⁶⁾ Presbyterian marriage records show that Adam R. Bowlby of Bethlehem Twp., Hunterdon, NJ and Martha McDaniel were married on the date indicated. Hunterdon County marriage license records her name as "Martha W. Daniel."

An Oliver McGrue was living with this family, aged 16 - occupation
farmer - in 1850. Martha MCDANIEL ^{(6)(7) (8)} died on 6 Oct 1839.⁽³⁴⁰⁷⁾ She was buried in Guinea Pike Cemetery, Miami Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio. ⁽³⁴⁰⁸⁾ Adam Riley BOWLBY and Martha MCDANIEL had the following children:

1471 iv. Hannah BOWLBY^{(6) (7)(8)} was born about 1839 in Ohio.⁽³⁴⁰⁹⁾ She was listed in the 1850 census. She was not mentioned in the Duncan
sketch and probably died young.

He was married to Mary OLIVER in 1840. ⁽³⁴¹⁰⁾ Mary OLIVER ^{(6)(7) (8)} was born about 1811. Adam Riley BOWLBY and Mary OLIVER had the following children:
